Our Story
Welcome to Stonebrook Mercantile. Stonebrook Mercantile was created with a simple idea — to bring together thoughtfully made, handcrafted goods from people around the world who value quality, sustainability, and tradition over mass production.
We believe there’s something special about items that are made by hand, with care, by real people — not factories. Our goal is to build an online store that supports small makers, especially those in rural communities and farming regions, where craftsmanship often sits alongside everyday life. Whether it’s a farmer creating goods in the off-season or a small workshop producing pieces the traditional way, we want to help share their work with a wider audience.
Alongside this, we’ll also be creating our own handcrafted pieces — including resin and timber furniture — built with the same values of durability, character, and individuality. At Stonebrook Mercantile, we’re choosing to do things differently. Supporting small and independent makers focusing on sustainable, quality materials. Steering clear of mass-produced goods.
Celebrating craftsmanship and stories. Looking ahead, we hope to grow this from an online store into a physical space — a shopfront that not only showcases these pieces but also becomes a place where our community can come together, connect, and share in the appreciation of handmade goods.

Oowee Products North Carolina, USA
Oowee was born from the love of handcrafted goods and their founder, Gabriel Hargett’s creative ability to transform leather into something we can use daily. Oowee launched in 2009 with the simple concept of bringing class, style, and function to the age-old tradition of having a cool refreshing pint to round out your day.
Their original product – the classic leather pint sleeve – is one of our best-selling items and remains one of their most popular products today. This patented product is what Oowee was founded on. The immediate popularity of their leather pint sleeves allowed the company to grow and prosper into what they are today.
They have always offered our products co-branded with our client’s logos and available for purchase in bulk. This made their leather beverage sleeves an excellent promotional item with a demand for large volume production.
They started working with the Autism Society of North Carolina in 2011. This partnership was a real turning point for Oowee, as it allowed them to employ adults on the autism spectrum to hand sew each of our leather beverage sleeves. They are proud to provide employment for these individuals and rely on them to help assemble Their beverage sleeves and package most of their products.
They worked closely with the Autism Society of NC to ensure that they were providing a happy healthy work environment in which their employees with intellectual disability can excel.
This partnership allows Oowee to be much more than just another company that makes stuff.
They are able to make high quality products but more importantly they are also supporting their community and filling a social gap.
They feel this an important part of their business and hope that their clients can appreciate this fact and feel good about putting their logo on products that are responsibly produced.
